Target App Redesign

The home screen of Target’s app reimagined. Minimal full screen display designed to engage guests and encourage discovery, inspiration & interaction.

The team:

This work was a cross-functional collaborative effort with partners from various departments including Creative, UX, Engineering and Business Strategy & Operations.

Contribution:

As a creative partner for the app redesign I brought my expertise of current design systems and creative processes to ensure that the end product met the technical needs of the teams who execute the digital content for the Target App.

My partnership included:

  • Pressure tested designs to ensure compatibility with typical creative process & ongoing business strategies.

  • Provided user feedback on both frontend and backend experience.

  • Participated in user acceptance testing.

  • Developed a style guide with creative best practices for executing content within the updated design system.

  • Facilitated training of creative teams which included overview of redesign, tool demo and creative style guide shareout.
